Abstract

This article, authored by Prof. Dr. O. TOYGAR and Assoc. Prof. Dr. M. Naci AYRAL from the Second Surgery Clinic of Ankara Medical Faculty, focuses on aneurysms by first highlighting the advancements in vascular surgery over the last decade. The paper defines aneurysms as a dilation of an artery or the formation of an abnormal connection between an artery and a vein. It then discusses three specific cases from the clinic: the first is an aneurysm of the internal carotid artery, while the other two are arteriovenous aneurysms. The third case is particularly noteworthy, involving an arteriovenous aneurysm between the right external iliac artery and vein in a patient who also had pyloric stenosis and an ulcer, requiring both gastric and aneurysm surgery.

Bir Arteriel, İki Arteriovenöz Anevrizma Dolayısı ile Anevrizmalar Hakkında

Abstract

Ankara Tıp Fakültesi II. Şirürji Kliniği'nden Prof. Dr. O. TOYGAR ve Doç. Dr. M. Naci AYRAL tarafından kaleme alınan bu makale, vasküler cerrahide son on yılda kaydedilen ilerlemelerle anevrizma konusuna odaklanmaktadır. Makale, atardamarların genişlemesi veya bir atar ile toplardamar arasında anormal bir bağlantı oluşması olarak tanımlanan anevrizmaları, kliniğe ait üç vaka üzerinden ele alıyor. İncelenen vakalardan ilki internal karotis arterindeki bir anevrizma, diğer ikisi ise arteriovenöz anevrizmalardır. Üçüncü vaka, pilor stenozu ve ülseri olan bir hastada görülen sağ eksternal iliak arter ile ven arasındaki anevrizma olup, makalede bu hastanın hem mide hem de anevrizma için ameliyat edildiği belirtilmektedir.
