Tipik ve Atipik Hepatektomiler
Abstract
Hepatectomies have gained increasing importance in hepato-biliary surgery in recent years, thanks to advances in resuscitation, liver physiology, and anatomical understanding of vascular and biliary systems. Typical hepatectomies follow anatomical segmentation and allow safer, more controlled resections with minimal necrosis. Atypical hepatectomies disregard vascular and biliary anatomy and carry higher risks. The author presents surgical techniques, indications, and outcomes of both types, based on clinical experience. Emphasis is placed on intraoperative cholangiography and postoperative functional tests. The paper concludes that liver surgery is no longer untouchable and can be safely performed with proper anatomical and technical knowledge.
