Antrenyl'in Mide İfrazı Üzerine Tesiri

Bu klinik araştırma, yeni bir antikolinerjik (vagolitik) ilaç olan Antrenyl'in (Oxyphenonium bromide) mide salgısı ve hareketliliği üzerindeki etkilerini incelemektedir. Peptik ülserli 9 hasta üzerinde yapılan 38 ayrı mide suyu tetkiki sonucunda, ilacın mide asiditesini tamamiyle ortadan kaldırmadığı (anasidite sağlamadığı), ancak mide suyu miktarını belirgin şekilde azalttığı saptanmıştır.Araştırma verilerine göre, 15 mg (3 tablet) Antrenyl uygulaması açlık ve bazal sekresyon miktarını %50 oranında düşürmüş, bir saatlik toplam asit çıktısında ise %62'lik bir azalma sağlamıştır. İlacın en dikkat çekici etkisi mide boşalma süresini iki misli uzatmasıdır. Yazar, Antrenyl'in ülser ağrısını dindirmedeki başarısını asit düşürücü etkisinden ziyade, sindirim sistemindeki motiliteyi (hareketliliği) yavaşlatmasına bağlamaktadır. Sonuç olarak, Antrenyl'in özellikle antasit (kalevi) ilaçlarla birlikte kullanıldığında ülser tedavisinde faydalı bir yardımcı olduğu belirtilmiştir.

The study performed 38 analyses, measuring fasting and basal secretions, as well as the maximal secretory capacity via a four-dose histamine test. Findings indicate that a single 15 mg dose of Antrenyl results in a 50% reduction in the volume of gastric secretion and a 62% reduction in the hourly output of hydrochloric acid (HCl).The research highlights that while Antrenyl has a moderate effect on absolute acidity levels (18% decrease), its primary therapeutic value lies in its profound impact on gastric motility, doubling the stomach's emptying time. This delay allows concurrently administered antacids to remain in contact with the gastric contents for a longer duration, thereby enhancing the neutralization of acid. The author concludes that Antrenyl is a valuable clinical tool, as it effectively relieves ulcer pain by suppressing hypermotility and lowering total acid production.
