Abstract

Şziksel, duygusal, sosyal ve spiritüel yönleri içeren aktif, bütüncül bir bakım yaklaşımıdır. Çocuk ve ebeveynlerin yaşam kalitesini güçlendirmeye odaklanır. Çocuklarda palyatif bakım erişkinlerden farklıdır ve farklı yaklaşımlara gereksinim vardır. Bu derlemede çocuklarda palyatif bakım yaklaşımları, palyatif bakımın erişkin hastalardan farklı yönleri, palyatif bakım modelleri, yaşamı tehdit edici durumu olan çocukların ve ebeveynlerin gereksinimleri ve palyatif bakımda sağlık profesyonellerinin rolünün tartışılması amaçlanmıştır
