Abstract

Bilgisayar teknolojisindeki gelișmelere paralel olarak görüntüleme yöntemlerinde de gelișmeler olmuș, tüm bunlar radyoterapi planlama sistemlerinde daha kompleks planlamalar yapmaya olanak sağlamıștır. Bu gelișmeler üç-boyutlu konformal radyoterapi, yoğunluk ayarlı radyoterapi, görüntü kılavuzluğunda radyoterapi ve stereotaktik radyoterapi olarak özetlenebilir. Tüm bu yeni modaliteler ile tümöre en uygun șekilde radyasyon verilirken, normal sağlıklı doku da mümkün olduğunca korunabilmektedir. Bu derlemede, radyoterapi alanındaki yeniliklerin, prensipleri, teknolojik gereklilikleri ve klinik uygulamaları ile tümör ve normal dokudaki etkileri özetlenmektedir
