Takıp Ettıgımız 18 Sspe Vak’asının Klınık Ve Elektronmıkroskopiık Bulguları

Abstract

Bu çalımşada 1985-89 yılları arasında kliniğimizde yatırılarak SSPE tanısı konan 18 vakadan elde ettiğimiz klinik ve histopatolojik bulgular sunulmaktadır. Erken yasta gecirilen akut kizamik enfeksiyonu ile SSPE arasinda bulunan yakin iliskinin yanisira, SSPE’yeyakalanan cocuklarda basta orofarenks ve U.S.Y.E. olmak tizere daha sık enfeksiyon Oykusi gézlenmistir. Bu nedenle gapilan immunolojik arastirmalarda ise bir anormalite saptanamamiustir. Kortikal biopside piramidal nöron ve glia hücrelerinde, özellikle çekirdek içinde, daha az olarakta bu hücrelerin sitoplazmasında virus nikleokapsidleri inklüzyonlar biçiminde gösterilmiştir.

Abstract

In this study we are representing the clinical and histopathological findings of 18 SSPE cases. These cases Were hospitalized hetween 1985 - 89 in our department. We found high correlation rates between SSPE and the earliness of measles infection. We also found that SSPEpatients have higher vrofarynx and upper respiratory tract infections incidence, but we couldn’t find any changes in mmunologic laborotory studies. In cortical biopsy specimens we showed virus nucleocapsid
inclusions especially in pyramidal and glia cell nucleii there were also some inclusions in the sitoplasm,
