Abstract

272 posterior fossa malignant tumors operated between the years 1965 - 1985 at the Department of Neurosurgery Medical School of the University of Ankara, have been evaluated in view of symptoms, neurological sing, neuroradiological studies, operative and postoperative resuits, Comparison of our series with other series has revealed a higher rate of mortality of ours (% 33.2) of which the reasons have been discussed.

Abstract

1965 - 1985 yılları arasında Ankara Universitesi Tıp Fakiiltesi Noröşirurji Anabilim Dalında opere edilen 272 posterior fossa malign tümörü semptom, norölojik bulgu, noröradyolojik bulgu, ameliyat ve postoperatif sonuçları yönünden değerlendirilmiştir. Kliniğimiz serisi ile literatür karşılaştırılmış ve kliniğimiz serisinde bulunan mortalite oranının (% 33.2) literatüre oranla yüksek oluşunun nedenleri tartışılmıştır.
