Urography Treatment for Idiopathic Sudden Hearing Loss

Abstract

Among the hearing losses idiopatic sudden deafness have seen often and show problems in therapy. Medication such as steroids and vasodilatators are among the medicine üşed for the therapy purposes and also blocking of the ganglion stellatum have been done. However the choise of therapy has not been determined.
The last studies has shown that using the radiocontrast materials gave good results in the therapy. (n our clinic we have applied urografin (diatrizoate meglumine) in 15 idiopatic sudden hearing loşs cases and the results were found satj9factory among the early diagnosed ones.

İdiopatik Ani İşitme Kayıplarına Ürografin Tedavisi

Abstract

İdiopatik ani işitme kayıpları sık görülmekte ve tedavi yönünden büyük problemler göstermektedir. Tedavi amacıyla vazodilatatörler, steroidler gibi çeşitli ilaçlar kullanılmakta ve ganglion stellatum blokajı yapılmaktadır. Fakat, henüz kesin bir tedavi yöntemi üzerinde birleşilememiştir. Son zamanlarda radyokontras maddeler de tedavi kullanılmaya başlanmış ve iyi sonuçlar alındığı bildirilmiştir. Biz de 15 idiopatik ani işitme kayıplı hastada tedavi amacıyla ürografin denedik ve erken tanı konularak erken tedaviye alınan olgularda iyi sonuçlar elde ettik.
