Abstract
We have diagnosed 24 patients with Hiatus hemia among 4996 inpatients between 1965 - 1969.
We have com.pared our clinical findings, incidence and sex differences with observations of the other authors on these cases. We have also pointed out the difficulty of diagnosing sliding type Hernia.

Abstract
1965 - 1969 Seneleri arasında kliniğimizde yatmış bulunan 4996 hastadan 24 ünde Hiatus hernİa. vak'a.sı tesbit ettik: Bu vak'lardaki insidans, sex dağılımı, klinik bulgu ve objektif belirtiler üzerindeki incelemelerimiz diğer müelliflerin incelemeleriyle karşılaştırıldı. Sliding tipindeki hernianın teşhis zorluğuna işaret edildi
