Abstract
20 Yaşında bir kızda her iki Aşil tendonunu ayni zamanda tutan, yaklaşık olarak iki yılda gelişen bir lezyon tarif edilmiştir. Lezyon histopatolojik olarak Aşil tendonu içinde ikolesterol ve kolesterol kristalleri çevresinde yabancı cisim dev hücrelerinden ibaret hir yapıdadır. Histosit gurupları ve hiyalinize fibröz doku bulunmuş, fakat damar lezyonlarına rastlanmamıştır. iltihap elemanları ve pig ment yoktur. Ayırıcı tanıda söz konusu olabilecek sistemik ve lokal lezyonlar tartışılmıştır. Lezyonun özellikleri Aşil tendonu kolesterozisi olarak isimlendirilmesini gerektirmektedir.

Abstract
Bilateral Cholesterosis of the Calcaneus Tendons (Aphilles) Tumour like enlargement of the calcaneus tendons of a giri aged 20 have been described. The girit has had difficulty in walking for about tWo years. Böth masses are composed of cholesterol clefts surrounded by foreign body celis and histiocytes within the tendon. Vasculitis and infiammatory infiltrate are not encountered. Differantial diagnosis of the lesion is made. The authors prefer to cali this type of lesions as cholesterosis instead of xanthoma.
