Abstract

Although examining the liver's functional status, which is involved in various metabolic processes and carries out a relatively complex set of tasks, has been considered even in the past, and numerous studies have been conducted, a single test that can provide a single diagnosis has not yet been found. This is largely due to the organ's diverse functions, rather than the inefficiency of these procedures. The sheer number of liver function tests, currently over 50, is overwhelming clinics and laboratories, exceeding their capacity and scope. While this procedure has its drawbacks, such as the need for various and expensive instruments and a skilled technician, there are also simple tests that can be performed anywhere, provide quick results, and are economically feasible with simple equipment. Because the liver is a valuable organ of the body, and we must diagnose its diseases as quickly as possible, there is no other aid other than function tests for diagnosis, treatment monitoring, and prognosis. Early diagnosis is crucial, as when liver diseases are diagnosed in their early stages, effective treatment can prevent their progression.

Karaciğer Hastalıklarında Takata — Ara, Weltmann, Thymol, Gross Ve Cadmium Sulfat Testlerinin Mukayeseli Tetkiki

Abstract

Çeşitli metabolizma konuları ile alâkalı bulunan ve o nisbette karışık vazifeleri üzerine almış olan karaciğerin fonksiyon durumunu incelemek işi geçmiş tarihlerde dahi nazarı itibare alınmış ve üzerinde birçok çalışmalar yapılmış olmasına rağmen henüz büyük bir ekseriyetle yalınız başına teşhis koydurabilecek tek bir test bulunamamıştır. Bunun sebebi uğraşmaların kilayetsiz oluşundan ziyade bu organın çeşitli vazifelerinin bulunmasından ileri gelmektedir. Çok kalabalık olan ve bugün 50 nin üstünde bulunan karaciğer fonksiyon testlerinden klinik ve lâboratuvarların vus'atı ve calışma kapasitesi nisbetinde istilade edilmektedir. o Ancak bu iş için çeşitli ve pahalı âletlerle bu işe alışık mütehassıs bir elin lüzumu gibi mahzurları varsa da her verde tatbik ediİebilecek ve az zamanda netice verecek ve ayni zamanda basit cihazlarla yapılabilecek iktisadi görüşe uygun basit testler de vardır, Karaciğer vücudun kıymetli bir organı olduğundan
hastalıklarında da bir an evvel teşhise vasıl olmak mecburiyetinde olduğumuzdan gerek teşhis ve gerekse tedavinin takibi ve prognoz bakımından fonksiyon testlerinden başka bir yardımcı mevcut değildir. Karaciğer hastalıkları erken safhalarında teşhis edildikleri zaman müessir bir tedavi ile hastalığın gelişmesi önlenebileceğinden erken teşhisin kıymeti büyüktür.
