Abstract

Ankara Tıp Fakültesi Onkoloji Enstitüsü ve hastahanesinde müşahede edilen 43 yaşında bir kadın hastada ekstrofi vesikal zemininde teessüs etmiş yassı hücreli karsinoma takdim edildi.

Ayrıca ekstrofi vesikal sebebi, klinik belirtileri, komplikasyonları, tedavi metotları literatür bilgileride incelenerek, takdim edilen vak'anın özellikleri belirtildi.

Ekstrofi vesikalde erken yaşlarda operasyon (Uretero-sigmoidostomi) yapılmadığı takdirde genç yaşlarda bu hastalar çeşitli komplikasyonlarla vefat ederler. Çeşitli neşriyat vak'aların % 50 den fazlasının 20 yaşından evvel öldüğünü göstermiştir. Ankara Tıp Fakültesi Uroloji kliniğinde müşahede edilen 12 vak'anın hepside 20 yaşından yukarı değildi.

Vak'amızın 43 yaşında operasyon yapılmamış bir kadın ve aynı zamanda oldukça az rastlanan bir yassı hücreli karsinoma tipinde olması ve memleketimizde ilk defa görülmesi sebebiyle enteresandır.

Squamous Cell Carcinoma on the Extrophied Bladder (On the Occasion of a 43-Year-Old Case)

Abstract

A case of squomous cell carcinoma observed on the extrophied bladder of a 43 years old female at The Ankara Medical Faculty Oncological institute and Hospital has been presented.

In addition, in the light of the relevant literature, characteristics of the case such as the cause of the extrophy, clinical appearance, complications, therapeutical methods have been indicated.

If the patients with the extrophy are not operated (uretero-sigmoidostomy) early enough, they die at a young age from various complications. In different literature it has been noted that more than 50% of the cases die before the age of twenty. All of the 12 cases observed in the Urological Department of the Medical Faculty were under 20 years of age.

Our case can be considered to be interesting in that it is a 43 years old female who hasn't under gone an operation and that it is of the type of squomous cell carcinoma which is rather uncommon and which has been observed for the first time in our country.
