Hirsutizmli Kadınların Yüzlerindeki Sakal Şeklindeki Kılların Tedavisi ve Elektrokoagülasyon Tedavisi ile Elde Ettiğimiz Neticeler

Abstract

1- Son on sene içersinde Tıp Fakültesi Deri ve Zührevi Hastalıklar Kliniğinde 29 Hirsutizmli hasta tesbit edilmiş ve bunlardan 21 nin yüzündeki kıllar elektrokoagulasyonla tedavi edilmişlerdir.

2- Bir hastada tedavi bölgesinde nokta tarzında hiperpigmentasyon husule gelmiş ve bu yüzden tedaviye son verilmiştir.

3- Şişman bir hastada sık olarak çene bölgesinde lokalize olan kılların tedavisinden sonra bu bölgede hafif bir çöküntü husule gelmektedir.

4- 19 hirsitizmli vaka elektrokoagülasyonla tedavi edilmiş ve bunların yüzlerinde sikatriks ve keloid gibi kalıcı arızalara rastlanılmamıştır.

5- Elektrokoagülasyonla epile edilen kılların % 30 unda nüks görülmüştür.

6- Hirsitizmli hastaların yüzlerindeki fazla kılların tedavisi için en iyi metodun elektrokoagulasyon olduğuna inanmaktayız.

The Treatment of Beard-Like Hairs on the Faces of Hirsute Women and the Results We Obtained with Electrocoagulation Therapy

Abstract

1- In the last ten years, 29 patients with hirsutism were identified at the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Dermatology and Venereal Diseases, and the facial hair of 21 of them was treated with electrocoagulation.

2- In one patient, punctate hyperpigmentation occurred in the treated area, and therefore the treatment was discontinued.

3- In an obese patient with dense hair localized to the chin area, a slight depression occurred in this area after treatment.

4- 19 hirsutism cases were treated with electrocoagulation, and no permanent complications such as scars or keloids were observed on their faces.

5- A recurrence rate of 30% was observed in hairs epilated with electrocoagulation.

6- We believe that electrocoagulation is the best method for the treatment of excess facial hair in hirsute patients.
