Abstract
Renal biopsies fixed in paraformaldehyde and embedded in glycol methacrylate were sectioned using a JB-4 microtome. The thin sections were stained with fluorescein-conjugated anti-human serum. Immunofluorescent staining results were compared with routine staining results from cryostat sections of the same tissues. The findings showed that this method preserved tissue structure very well and provided staining results equal or even superior to those from cryostat sections.

Abstract
Paraformaldehid ile tesbit edilerek glikol metakrilata gömülen böbrek biyopsileri JB-4 mikrotom ile kesildi. Hazırlanan ince kesitler, fluoressein'e bağlanmış anti-human serum ile boyandı. Elde edilen immunofluoresan boyama sonuçları aynı dokuların kriyostat kesitlerinde uygulanan rutin boyama sonuçları ile karşılaştırıldı. Sonuçlar, doku yapısını çok iyi koruyan bu yöntemle kriyostat kesitlerine eşdeğer hatta üstün boyanma sağlandığını gösterdi.
