Gram pozitif bakterilerin hücre çeperleri, polisakkarit zincirleri ile peptid zincirlerinden meydana gelmiştir. Bu iki unsur, çeperin karakteristik üç boyutlu ağ yapısını meydana getirecek şekilde birleşmişlerdir. Lizozim enzimi hücre çeperindeki polisakkarit zincir-
lerini hidrolize ederek parcalar, penisilin ise bölünen bakterilerde yeni çeper sentezini engeller.
The cell walls of Gram positive Bacteria are made of polysaccharide and peptide chains. This two components are united in order to from the characteristic three dimensional cell wall in the structure of the net. The lysozyme enzyme breaks down the polysaccharide chains in the cell wall by hydrolysing and on the other hand penicillin the new synthesis of the cell wall in growing bacteria.
