Abstract

Bu çalışmada, altı yıl arayla her iki bacakta aynı bölgede yalancı anevrizma gelişen 45 yaşındaki bir hasta sunulmuştur. İlk vaka sol femoral arterde, ikinci vaka ise sağ popliteal arterde tespit edilmiştir. Her iki olguda da belirgin bir travma öyküsü bulunmamaktadır. Arteriyosklerozun altta yatan neden olduğu ve mikro travmaların tetikleyici rol oynadığı düşünülmüştür. Cerrahi tedavide, anevrizma kesesinin rezeksiyonu ve arter defektinin onarımı uygulanmıştır. Hastanın takibinde kollateral dolaşımın gelişimi için preoperatif basınç uygulamasının önemi vurgulanmıştır. Bu vaka, arteriyosklerotik zeminde anevrizma eğiliminin nadir bir örneğini oluşturmaktadır.

Development of Aneurysm Twice Within Six Years in a Patient (Tendency to Develop Aneurysms)

Abstract

This study presents a 45-year-old patient who developed false aneurysms in the same region of both lower extremities within a six-year interval. The first case involved the left femoral artery, while the second occurred in the right popliteal artery. No significant trauma history was reported in either instance. Arteriosclerosis was identified as the underlying cause, with microtraumas likely acting as triggering factors. Surgical treatment included resection of the aneurysm sac and repair of the arterial defect. The importance of preoperative pressure application to promote collateral circulation was emphasized during follow-up. This case represents a rare example of aneurysm predisposition in an arteriosclerotic background.
