Abstract

This study examines the transformation of laughter to comedy and to grotesque as an expressive language in itself. By focusing on various dimensions that drive the idea of comic, the project focuses on how various philosophers approach the notion of comic and humor down the ages. While focusing on the evolution and types of the art of comedy, the study examines the stages of the idea of comic through the analysis of old comedy, Moliére, Italian Folk Theatre, and Traditional Turkish Theatre, through which I discuss the methods of creating the notion of comic. As a method of creating the notion of comedy, this study discusses the meaning and use of grotesque in today’s theatre

Gülmeden Grotesk Etkiye

Abstract

Bu çalışmada insani bir tepki olan gülmenin komiğe ve günümüzde başlı başına bir anlatım dili olan groteske dönüşümü ele alınmaktadır. Çalışma gülüncü oluşturan sebepleri çeşitli boyutlarıyla ele alarak, çağlar boyunca filozofların komik-gülünç olanla ilgili yaklaşımlarını içermektedir. Ayrıca bu çalışma kapsamında komedinin türleri ve komedi sanatının gelişimine değinilirken, komedinin evreleri eski komedya, Moliere, İtalyan Halk Tiyatrosu ve Geleneksel Türk Tiyatrosu’na değinilerek tüm bu evrelerde görülen gülünçleştirme metotları ele alınmaktadır. Bir gülünçleştirme metodu olarak groteskin günümüzdeki anlamı ve tiyatrodaki işlevi de bu çalışmada tartışılmaktadır
