Türkiye Kuşkonmaz Genetik Kaynakları ve Yöresel Kullanımı

Abstract

Türkiye kuşkonmaz genetik kaynakları yönünden zengin bir ülkedir. Sebze ve tıbbi amaçlı kullanılabilen kuşkonmazın ticari olarak üretim ve pazarlaması gelişmemiştir. Fakat kırsal kesimde yaşayanlar Türkiye’nin farklı bölgelerinde farklı türleri toplayıp severek tüketmekte ve yerel pazarlarda satışını yapmaktadır. Halk tarafından “Tilkişen”, “Mercü” gibi yöresel isimler verilmektedir. Türkiye’de varlığı teyit edilmiş 10 tür doğal olarak varlığını sürdürmektedir. Bunlar; Asparagus officinalis L. (Bahçe Kuşkonmazı), Asparagus acutifolius L., Asparagus aphyllus L., Asparagus verticillatus L., Asparagus lycicus P.H. Davis (Endemik), Asparagus coodei P.H. Davis (Endemik), Asparagus lycaonicus P.H. Davis (Endemik), Asparagus persicus Baker, Asparagus palaestinus Baker, Asparagus tenuifolius Lam. türleridir. Asparagus trichophyllus Bunge ve Asparagus filifolius Bertol isimli iki türün ise varlığının teyidinin gerekliliği belirtilmiştir. Yalova Atatürk Bahçe Kültürleri Merkez Araştırma Enstitüsünde yürütülen “Türkiye Kuşkonmaz (Asparagus spp.) Genotiplerinin Toplanması, Muhafazası ve Karakterizasyonu” isimli proje kapsamında türlerin toplanması ve karakterizasyonu devam etmektedir. Toplamda 141 lokasyondan 10 türe ait örnekler toplanmıştır. Bu çalışmada bu türlerin dağılım alanları ile yöresel adları ve sebze olarak kullanımları bildirilecektir.

Türkiye’s Genetic Resources and Local Use of Asparagus

Abstract

Türkiye is country rich in asparagus genetic resources. Commercial production and marketing of asparagus, which can be used for vegetable and medicinal purposes, has not been developed. However, rural people collect different species in different regions of Türkiye, consume them fondly and sell them in local markets. Local names such as tilkişen and mercü are given. 10 species whose existence has been confirmed in Türkiye continue to exist naturally. These; Asparagus officinalis L. (Garden Asparagus), Asparagus acutifolius L., Asparagus aphyllus L., Asparagus verticillatus L., Asparagus lycicus P.H. Davis (Endemic), Asparagus coodei P.H. Davis (Endemic), Asparagus lycaonicus P.H. Davis (Endemic), Asparagus persicus Baker, Asparagus palaestinus Baker, Asparagus tenuifolius Lam. are types. Asparagus trichophyllus Bunge and Asparagus filifolius Bertol. The necessity of confirmation of the existence of two named species was stated. The collection and characterization of the species continues within the scope of the project named "Collection, Conservation and Characterization of Türkiye Asparagus (Asparagus spp.) Genotypes" carried out at Yalova Atatürk Horticultural Central Research Institute. In total, samples of 10 species were collected from 141 locations. In this study, the distribution areas of these species, their local names and their use as vegetables will be reported.
