Türkiye’de Kiraz Bahçesi Tesisinde Düşünülmesi Gereken Döllenme ve Bakteriyel Kanser Problemleri

Abstract

Bu makalenin amacı, Türk bahçecilik yayım hizmetlerine ve çiftçilere, bir kiraz bahçesi kurarken dikkate alınması gereken temel faktörler olan tatlı kiraz tozlaşması ve bakteriyel kanser sorunlarını göstermektir. Tatlı kirazın tozlaşma davranışı ele alınmış ve Tablo 1, başlıca ticari tatlı kiraz çeşitlerinin bakteriyel kansere dayanıklılıklarına göre bir sınıflandırmasını vermiştir. Tatlı kiraz için üç anaç çeşidinin kansere dayanıklılık derecesi de belirtilmiştir. Tablo 3, çeşitlerin aşağıdaki özelliklerini dikkate alan bir tatlı kiraz örneği dikim düzenini göstermektedir: pazar kalitesi, erken, orta mevsim ve geç olgunlaşma; bakteriyel kansere yüksek dayanıklılık, en iyi tozlaşma düzeni.

Essential Factors to Take into Account When Establishing a Sweet Cherry Orchard: Pollination and Bacterial Canker

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate to the Turkish horticulture extension service and to the farmers, the problems of sweet cherry pollination and of bacterial canker, as essential factors to take into account when establishing a sweet cherry orchard. The pollination behavior of the sweet cherry is discussed and table I gives a classification of the main commercial sweet cherry cultivars according to their resistance to bacterial canker. The degree of resistance to canker, of three rootstocks for sweet cherry is also mentioned. Table 3 gives a sweet cherry specimen planting arrangement that takes into account the following characteristics of the varieties: market qualities, early, mid-season and late ripening; high resistance to bacterial canker, best pollinating arrangement.
