Yalova Çevresinde Önemli Zararları Görülen Soğan Sarı Cüce Virüsü ve Soğan Nematodu Üzerine İncelemeler

Abstract

Yıkıcı patojen Ditylenchus dipsaci Kühn (Filipjev), 1968 yılında Yalova çevresindeki tarlalardan alınan soğan örneklerinde gözlemlenmiştir. Bazı bitkilerde kısalmış ve kalınlaşmış gövdeler, kıvrılmış ve kısalmış yapraklar ve yumuşamış soğanlar, mikroskop altında görüldüğü gibi, bu organizmanın çeşitli büyüme evrelerinin varlığıyla ilişkilendirilmiştir. Diğer bitkilerde ise buruşuk, yassı ve uzunlamasına sarı çizgili yapraklar olmasına rağmen, D.dipsaci veya başka bir patojenle enfeksiyondan ari gibi görünmektedirler. Görsel semptomlar, sarı cüce virüsü enfeksiyonuyla uyumludur.

Studies on Onion Yellow Dwarf Virus and Onion Nematode, Which Cause Significant Damage in the Yalova Region

Abstract

The destructive pathogen Ditylenchus dipsaci Kühn (Filipjev) has been observed on samples of onions taken from fields around Yalova in 1968. In some plants shortened and thickened stems, twisted and shortened leaves and softened bulbs were associated with the presence of various growth stages of this organism as seen under the microscope. Other plants had crinkled, flattened and longitudinal yellow streaked leaves but appeared to be free from infection with D.dipsaci or any other pathogen. The visual symptoms were compatible with infection by yellow Dwarf Virus.
