Abstract

Yalova Bahçe Kültürleri Araştırma Enstitüsü'nde 1964-1974 yılları arasında yirmi farklı yerli ve yabancı erik çeşidi üzerinde bir deneme yürütülmüştür. Bu denemede, bu çeşitlerin fenolojik ve pomolojik özellikleri, olgunlaşma tarihleri, üretim miktarları ve meyve kaliteleri belirlenmiştir. Bu deneme sonucunda şu çeşitler seçilmiştir: Giant ve R.C. Violet (taze tüketim), R.C. Verte (taze tüketim ve işleme), d’Agen ve Köstendil (kurutma) ve Stanley (taze tüketim ve kurutma).

Evaluation of Local and Foreign Plum Cultivars

Abstract

An experiment was conducted on twenty different local and foreign plum varieties at Yalova Horticultural Research Institute between 1964-1974. In this experiment phenological and pomological characteristics, ripening dates, production and the fruit quality of these varieties were determined. At the end of this experiment, the following varieties were selected: Giant and R.C. Violet (fresh consumption) R.C. Verte (fresh consumption and for processing) d’Agen and Köstendil (for drying) Stanley (fresh consumption and for drying).
