Yüksek Tünellerdeki Çileklerde GA₃ Uygulamalarının Verim ve Kalite Üzerine Etkileri-1 (Yaz Dikimleri)

Öz

1984-1986 yılları arasında Çukurova Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Bahçe Bitkileri Bölümünde yüksek tüneldeki yaz dikimlerinde 3 çilek çeşidinde (Aliso, Pocahontas, Tioga) GA₃’ün değişik zaman ve konsantrasyonlarda kullanılmasının verim ve kalite üzerine etkileri araştırılmıştır. Çeşit ve yıllara göre değişmesine karşın genel olarak GA₃ verim üzerine olumlu bir etki yapmıştır. Bununla birlikte, erken dönemde uygulanan GA₃, çiçeklenme zamanında don olması ve buna karşı önlem alın maması durumunda yüksek tünellerde, zararlanma meydana getirebilmekte ve böylece verimde düşmektedir. GA₃’ün meyve ağırlığı üzerine etkisi tanığa göre oldukça olumsuz olmuştur. Ancak meyve kalitesi üzerine GA₃’ün oldukça olumlu etkide bulunduğu saptanmıştır.

Effects of GA₃ Applications on the Yield and Quality of Strawberries Grown in High Tunnels-1 (Summer Plantings)

Abstract

Between 1984 and 1986 effects of GA₃ that was applied at different times and concentrations on the yield and quality of 3 strawberry cultivars (Aliso, Pocahontas, Tioga) planted in summer in high tunnels were investigate. Depending on cultivars and years, the effect of GA₃ on yield has been positive. However, early application of GA₃ may cause a frost damage on early flowers if precautions are not taken and this will result in low yield. GA₃ application had a negative impact on the yield comparing to the control. The fruit quality on the other hand has been improved by GA₃.
