Doğal Fotoperiyod Koşullarında GA₃’ün Gypsophila paniculata L. ‘Perfecta’da Verim ve Kaliteye Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışma, 1991-1992 yıllarında, geç kış-ilkbahar doğal foto-periyod ve plastik sera koşullarında GA₃ uygulamalarının Gypsophila paniculata L. ‘Perfecta’da verim ve kaliteye etkisini belirlemek amacıyla Alata Bahçe Kültürleri Araştırma Enstitüsünde yürütülmüştür. Tepe çeliklerinin köklendirilmesiyle elde edilen bitkiler 22 Kasım 1991 tarihinde plastik seraya dikilmiş, bitkilere 15 Şubat 1992 tarihinden başlayarak, 1 haftalık aralıklarla 0 kez (Kontrol), 3 kez ve 5 kez olmak üzere 250 mg/litre dozunda GA₃ püskürtülmüştür. GA₃ uygulamaları çiçeklenmeyi öne almamış, çiçek çaplarının etkilememiş, ancak çiçeklenen sürgün sayısı ve hasat edilen çiçekli sürgün boylarında uygulama sayısına paralel olarak önemli artışlar sağlamıştır. Hasat edilen çiçekli sürgün yaş ağırlıklarının GA₃ uygulama sayısının artışıyla azaldığı, buna karşın GA₃’ün bitki başına hasat edilen çiçekli sürgün toplam yaş ağırlıklarını artırdığı belirlenmiştir.

Effect of Ga₃ on Cut Flower Yield and Quality of Gypsophila paniculata L. ‘Perfecta’ Under Late Winter and Spring Natural Photoperiod

Abstract

This study was carried out to determine the effect of GA₃ on cut flower yield and quality of Gypsophila paniculata L. ‘Perfecta’ under late winter-spring natural photoperiod and plastic greenhouse conditions at Alata Horticultural Research Institute (Erdemli-İçel/Türkiye), during 1991-1992 period. The plants propagated from tip cuttings were planted in plastic greenhouse on 22 November. Starting on 15 February, GA₃ solution at concentration of 250 mg/litter was sprayed on plants 0 (Control), 3 and 5 times at weekly intervals. GA₃ treatments significantly increased the final height of plant, the number of flowered shoots per plant and the length of flowered shoots at harvest. Flowering-dates and flower diameter were not affected from GA₃ treatments. The results showed that there was an antagonistic relation between the number of GA₃ treatments and the number of flowered shoots per plant and the fresh weight of flowered shoots at harvest. So, with increasing GA₃ treatments, the fresh weight of flowered shoots at harvest decreased. Although that, it was found that the total fresh weight of cut flower per plant increased with GA₃ treatments.
