Bazı Erkenci İncir Çeşitlerinin Batı Akdeniz Koşullarına Adaptasyonu

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, yellop meyvesi olgunlaşan erkenci incir (Ficus carica L.) çeşitlerinin Batı Akdeniz Bölgesindeki performansları değerlendirilmiştir. ‘Yediveren’, ‘Beyaz Çicek’, Siyah Çiçek’, ‘Banana Fig’, ‘Noire de Cromb’ ve ‘Nazareth’ çeşitleri ile Batı Akdeniz Araştırma Enstitüsü’nde yürütülen çalışmada, meyve ağırlığı, meyve eni/boyu, ostiol açıklığı, meyve boyun uzunluğu, meyve eti kalınlığı, meyve kabuğunda çatlama, meyve kabuğu soyulma kolaylığı, olgunlaşma zamanı ve verim parametreleri değerlendirilmiştir. İki yıllık verilere göre meyve ağırlığı 88.06-38.46 g arasında, meyve eni/boyu 63.06-53.00 mm ile 37.5-37.2 mm, SÇKM %26.25-19.6 arasında ölçülmüştür. Tartılı derecelendirme metoduna göre yapılan analizde ise en yüksek puanı, ‘Banana Fig’ ve ‘Nazareth’ çeşitleri almıştır.

Adaptations of Early Ripening Figs in Western Mediterranean

Abstract

In this study, fruit performances of early ripening fig (Ficus carica L.) cultivars possessing brebas were evaluated in Western Mediterranean region of Turkey. An experiment targeting assessment of fruit weight, fruit size, ostiole width, neck length, fruit flesh thickness, fruit skin cracks, peeling of skin, ripening time, and yield parameters was carried out in Western Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute with cultivars ‘Yediveren’, ‘Beyaz Çicek’, Siyah Çiçek’, ‘Banana Fig’, ‘Noire de Cromb ’and ‘Nazareth’. The results based on two years data showed that fruit weight ranged between 88.06g and 38.46g, fruit width/length ranged between 63.06 mm/53.00 mm and 37.5mm/37.2mm, total soluble solids content ranged between 26.25% and 19,6%. ‘Banana’ and ‘Nazareth’ cultivars had the highest score in the weighed ranked method analysis.
