Farklı Olgunluk Dönemlerinde Hasat Edilen Bazı Zeytin Çeşitlerinin Meyve Özelliklerinin Belirlenmesi Üzerine Çalışmalar

Abstract

Bu araştırma, Çanakkale koşullarında yetişen ve farklı olgunluk zamanlarda hasat edilen bazı zeytin çeşitlerinin meyvelerinde meydana gelen değişimleri incelemek amacıyla 2012 yılında yapılmıştır. Çalışmada Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi’nin Dardanos Yerleşkesi Koleksiyon Parselinde bulunan Samanlı, Kiraz ve Lucques ele alınmıştır. Bu klonlara ait ağaçlardan zeytin meyveleri 4 Ekim, 15 Ekim, 31 Ekim ve 9 Kasım olmak üzere 10 günlük aralıklarla 4 farklı zamanda hasat edilerek, meyvelerinde bazı pomolojik ve biyokimyasal özellikler incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla hasat edilen zeytinlerde meyve ve çekirdek eni ile boyu (mm), meyve indeksi (boy/en), çekirdek boyu ve eni (mm), 100 meyve ve çekirdek ağırlığı (g), meyve et ve nem oranı (%), olgunluk indeksi, klorofil a (mg/l), klorofil b (mg/l) ve toplam karotenoid içeriği (µg/ml) incelemiştir. Ayrıca meyve şekli, meyve olgunluk indeksleri de belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonunda Samanlı, Kiraz ve Lucques çeşitlerinin meyvelerinde, hasat zamanlarına bağlı olarak önemli pomolojik ve biyokimyasal değişimler olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Studies on Determination of Fruit Characteristics of Some Olive Cultivars Harvested at Different Maturity Stages

Abstract

This research was carried out to determine of fruit characteristics of Gemlik olive clones harvested at different maturation period under Çanakkale ecological condition in 2012. In the study Samanlı, Kiraz ve Lucques olive cultivars were used. Some pomological and biochemical characteristics of olive fruits harvested at 10 days interval in 4 October, 15 October, 31 October and 9 December dates were investigated. In this examinations fruit length and width (mm), fruit index (length/width), seed length (mm), seed width (mm), 100 fruit weight (g), 100 seed weight (g), fruit flesh rate (%), fruit humidity rate (%), maturity index, chlorophyl a (mg/l), chlorophyl b (mg/l) and total carotenoids compounds (µg/ml) were determined. At the end of the study, pomological and biochemical characteristics of fruits of Samanlı, Kiraz ve Lucques olive cultivars harvested in different maturity times showed important changes.
