Bazı Melez Süs Biberlerinin Çıkış ve Erken Fide Dönemi Özelliklerinin Ebeveyn Genotiplerle Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Antakya koşullarında bazı melez süs biberlerinin tohum çıkış performansları ve erken fide dönemi özelliklerinin ebeveyn genotipleri ile karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. İncelenen özelliklerden fide çıkış oranı en yüksek MKÜ-128, MKÜ-124, 127×126(F₂/1), 128×106 ve 106×124 (F₁/1) genotiplerinde belirlenmiştir. Ortalama fide çıkış zamanı ebeveynlerden MKÜ-106 kodlu genotipte 12.56 gün ile en erken gerçekleşmiştir. Ortalama çıkış hızı (0.53) ve ortalama çıkış hızı kat sayısı (113.7) özellikleri de MKÜ-106 kodlu genotipte en yüksek bulunmuştur. Bitki boyu 106×124 (F₁/2) melez bireylerinde 17.35 cm ile en yüksek belirlenirken, 6.66 cm ile 126×127 melez bireylerinde en kısa olarak belirlenmiştir. İlk çiçek tomurcuğu görünme zamanı 127×126 (F₂/1) melez bireylerinde 45 gün, ilk çiçeklenme zamanı 127×126 (F₂/1) melez bireylerinde 62 gün ve ilk meyve tutum zamanı 128×106 melez bireylerinde 66 gün olarak saptanmıştır. Klorofil içeriği 52.08 SPAD değeri ile 128×106 melez bireylerinde en yüksek değere sahip olmuştur. Bu sonuçlar ışığında süs biberlerinde bitki özelliklerine (çıkış ve erken fide dönemi özellikleri) ilişkin genetik kazanımların melezleme programları kullanılarak artırılabileceği öngörülmektedir.

A Comparison of Emergence and Early Seedling Traits of Some Hybrid Ornamental Peppers With Parent Genotypes

Abstract

In this work, it was aimed to compare the seed emergence performance and early seedling characteristics of some hybrid ornamental peppers with their parents in Antakya conditions. Among the examined traits, the highest seedling emergence percentage was determined in MKU 128, MKU 124, 127×126(F₂/1), 128×106 and 106×124 (F₁/1) genotypes. Mean seedling emergence time was the earliest with 12.56 days in MKU 106 coded genotype from parents. Mean emergence rate (0.53) and coefficient of velocity of emergence (113.7) were also highest in MKU 106 coded genotype. While the plant height was determined as the highest with 17.35 cm in 106×124 (F₁/2) hybrids, it was determined as the shortest with 6.66 cm in 126×127 hybrids. The first flower bud appearance time was determined as 45 days in the 127×126 (F₂/1) hybrids, 62 days in the 127×126 (F₂/1) hybrids, and 66 days in the 128×106 hybrids. The chlorophyll content had the highest value in the 128×106 hybrids with a SPAD value of 52.08. In the light of these results, it is predicted that genetic gains related to plant characteristics (emergence and early seedling period characteristics) in ornamental peppers can be increased by using hybridization programs.
