HIYAR FİDE KALİTESİ VE BİTKİ GELİŞİMİ ÜZERİNE PROHEXADIONE-CALCIUM UYGULAMALARININ ETKİLERİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada hıyar (Cucumis sativus L.) fidelerinde boylanmanın kontrolü amacıyla topraktan (2.5, 5 ve 10 mg/l) ve yapraktan (25, 50 ve 100 mg/l) uygulanan prohexadione-calcium (Pro-Ca)’un fide kalitesi ve şaşırtma sonrası bitki gelişimi üzerine etkilerini araştırılmıştır. Pro-Ca’nın hem topraktan hem de yapraktan uygulaması fidelerde aşırı boylanmayı azaltmıştır. Bu azalmaya paralel olarak özellikle yapraktan yapılan Pro-Ca uygulamaları fide boğum arası uzunluklarını da kısaltılmıştır. Pro-Ca ayrıca fide gövde çapı ve kuru ağırlığı ile kök kuru ve yaş ağırlığında da bir artmaya neden olurken fidelerde yaprak sayısına ve şaşırtılan bitkilerde ilk çiçeklenmeye kadar geçen süre üzerine herhangi bir etkide bulunmamıştır. Bulgular hıyar fidelerinde aşırı boylanmanın kontrolü amacıyla Pro-Ca’nın çimlenme sonrası uygulamasının etkili bir şekilde kullanılabileceğini göstermiştir.
