Ceviz Yetiştiriciliğinin Dünya ve Türkiye’deki Mevcut Durumu

Abstract

Türkiye, antepfıstığı, bademin yanı sıra cevizin de gen merkezidir. Ancak ülkeler itibariyle ceviz üretimine bakıldığında Çin 1.700.000 ton ile 1. sıradadır. İran ise 453.988 ton üretim ile 2.sırada, ABD 420 bin ton üretim sağlayarak 3. sırada yer almaktadır. Türkiye ise 212.140 ton üretim ile 4. sırayı takip etmektedir (FAO, 2013). 2014 yılı TUIK rakamlarına göre Türkiye ceviz üretiminin 181 bin ton olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ülkemizin ceviz üretimi bölgelere göre incelendiğinde ilk sırayı %20 üretim ile Ege bölgesi alırken, %18’lik bir üretim ile Akdeniz bölgesi 2. sırada ,%12’lik üretim ile Ortadoğu Anadolu Bölgesi 3.sırada ve %5’lik bir üretim ile Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi 7. sırada yer almaktadır. Güneydoğu Anadolu bölgesindeki yüksek yaz sıcaklıkları sebebiyle ceviz kalitesinde önemli sorunlar yaşanmaktadır.

Walnut Production/Growing Conditions in Turkey and World

Abstract

Turkey is the gene center of nuts such as pistachio, almond and walnut. However. China is seen to be rank first on the walnut breeding with 1.700.000 tone. Iran follows China with 453.988 tone. USA rank third after Iran with 420.000 tone. Turkey is placed fourthly with 212.140 tone (FAO, 2013). According to the Turkish Statistical Institute, Turkey is determined to grow 181.000 tone walnut in 2014. As walnut growing in Turkey is investigated by regions. Growing figures of regions are sorted from top production center to least center as follows: Aegean: 20%, Mediterranean region: 18%, Central Anatolia: 12%, South eastern region: 5% walnut quality was affected negatively due to the high summer temperature in South eastern region.
