Mor Çiçekli Capsicum Türlerinin (C.cardenasii, C.eximium, C.pubescens, C.tovarii) İzoenzim Markerları ile Tanılanması

Abstract

İzoenzimler çevresel koşullardan etkilenmemeleri, kodominant kalıtıma sahip olmaları ve bir seferde çok örnekle çalışmaya imkân tanımalarından dolayı botanik alanında yapılan birçok çalışmada genetik marker olarak kullanılabilirler. Bu araştırmada da mor çiçekli C.cardenasii, C.eximium, C.pubescens ve C.tovarii türlerini tanılamada izoenzim markerlarının kullanabilirliğini ve bu türler arasında akrabalık düzeylerini ortaya koymak amacı ile yapılmıştır. Elde edilen elektroforez sonuçları C.cardenasii, C.eximium ve C.pubescens’in yakın akraba olduklarını, C.tovarii’nin ise bu türlere uzak akraba olduğunu ortaya koymuştur.

Isoenzyme Identification of Purple-Flowered Capsicum Species (C.cardenasii, C.eximium, C.pubescens, C.tovarii)

Abstract

Since isozymes generally exhibit Mendelian inheritance, co-dominant expression and it is possible to assay many samples at one time, they can be used as genetic markers in different aspects of botanical studies. This study was conducted to reveal the possibilities of using enzyme polymorphism for identification of purple-flowered C.cardenasii, C.eximium, C.pubescens and C.tovarii and for revealing genetic distance between these species. Results showed that while C.cardenasii, C.eximium and C.pubescens were closely related, C.tovarii was equally distant from these species.
