Clementine mandarininin (Citrus reticulata Blonco) üstün özelliklerine karşın, bazı sorunları bulun maktadır. Halen üretimde kullanılan klon yerine, verimi daha yüksek ve düzenli, meyve kalitesi iyi bir klonun üretime alınması sorunların çözümünde yardımcı olacaktır. Bu amaçla üretimde kullanılan klonla, Sidi Aissa, A gross Fruit d’Espagne, Ristorcelli ve Cadoux Clementine mandarin klonları Antalya koşullarında karşılaştırılmışlardır. Klonların cüceleşme (exocortis), kavlama (psorosis) ve gözenek (xyloporosis) virüs hastalıkları bakımından kontrolleri yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya alınan Clementine mandarini klonlarının "Çeşit Denemelerinde Tartılı Derecelendirme Metodu" na göre değerlendirilmeleri sonucu, Sidi Aissa klonunun diğer klonlara göre üstünlük gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgularla, meteorolojik veriler karşılaştırılarak; meyve tutumunun, çiçeklenme ve bunu izleyen birkaç haftalık zamandaki düşük sıcaklıklar ve fazla yağışlardan olumsuz yönde etkilendiği sonucuna varılmıştır.
Although the Clementine has superior marketing and exporting possibilities, it has some growing problems. Research will help to solve these problems and will facilitate the production of mere Clementines of high quality in Turkey. Instead of the clone used for Clementine production, another one with certain and regular bearing would be produced to help to solve these problems. For this purpose, in the present study, the Clementine clones from Morocco, namely Sidi Aissa, A Gross Fruit d’Espagne, Ristorcelli and Cadoux, were tested for their bearing and fruit quality in Antalya. These clones were also compared with the clone currently used in Clementine propagation. The data obtained was evaluated with "Randomized Blocks" methods. The method of "Weighed-Rankit" was used in order to find out the differences bet ween clones. The tests which rely on symptom controls on the indicator plants were applied to determine whether or not the clones were infected with exocortis, psorosis and xyloporosis virus diseases. The relations between climatic conditions, bearing and earliness were determined by comparing the research findings and meteorological data of the years 1975-1978 in Antalya. The Sidi Aissa clone was determined to be superior to the other clones under the conditions of research in Antalya. Moreover, the bearing was found to be affected negatively by low temperature and heavy rainfall, during the two-tree weeks after flowering.
