Marmara Bölgesi İçin Ümitvar Yerli Kiraz Çeşitlerinin Döllenme Uyuşmazlık Grupları Üzerinde Araştırmalar

Abstract

Atatürk Bahçe Kültürleri Araştırma Enstitüsünde sonuçlandırılmış bir kiraz çeşit denenleriyle tavsiye edilmiş bulunan Edirne, Karabodur ve Turfanda kiraz çeşitlerinin, döllenme ile ilgili genetik uyuşmazlık gruplarının araştırılması amacı ile 1979-1981 yıllarında bir deneme yapılmıştır. Deneme, 1968 yılında dikilmiş bulunan ve Prunus avium L. anacı üzerine aşılı ağaçlar üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Yabancı kökenli çeşitlerden 9 uyuşmazlık grubuna ait örnekler alınmış olup, Edirne kirazı, S2S3 allel genleriyle temsil edilen IV. uyuşmazlık grubunda. Karabodur, S3S4 allel genleriyle temsil edilen III. uyuşmazlık grubunda bulunmuştur. Turfanda çeşidi ele alınan 9 uyuşmazlık grubundan hiçbirine ait olmayıp: muhtemelen, dünyada mevcut 13 uyuşmazlık grubundan bu 9 tane dışındaki herhangi birisine aittir. Ayrıca, ele alınan çeşitlerin çiçeklenme ve meyve olgunluk zamanlarına ait kayıtlar alınmıştır.

Studies on Pollen Incompatibility Groups of Native Sweet Cherry Cultivars Suitable for Marmara Region

Abstract

As known, all sweet cherries except those produced by X-irradiated are self-incompatible. Additionally, most sweet cherries are cross-incompatible. For this reason, an attempt was made to investigate pollination incompatibility groups of the promising three local sweet cherry cultivars between 1979 and 1981. The names of the cultivars are Edirne, Karabodur and Turfanda. The investigation was carried out on the trees grafted on Prunus avium L. seedling stocks in the orchard planted in 1968 of Atatürk Horticultural Research Institute. In the investigations, nine representative cultivars connected with nine English groups were used. According to the results of the investigations, Edirne was found in the IV. incompatibility group (S2S3) and Karabodur in the III. incompatibility group (S3S4). Turfanda was not related with any of the above mentioned nine incompatibility groups. It is probably related with any of four out of thirteen incompatibility groups except nine. Information on practical pollination can be deduced from the chronological classification of the flowering times of the varieties studied.
