Ceviz odunsu çeliklerinin köklenmesinde çeliklerin kesim zamanı (Ekim, Kasım, Aralık, Mart), IBA konsantrasyonu (50-400 ve 1000-4000 ppm), IBA uygulama şekli (kısa ve uzun süreli uygulamalar, dip daldırma, derin daldırma), çelik tipi (bir ve iki yıllık çelikler, apikal ve dip çelikleri), çelik uzunluğu (15-20 cm, 30-40 cm, 50-60 cm), çeliklerin köklendirme ortamı (vermikülit, perlit, kum) ve diğer yetiştirme maddeleri (NAA, Alar, Ethrel, 2,4,5 TP, Chinosol, Amonyum sülfat, sukroz) araştırılmıştır. Kullanılan tüm uygulamalarda köklenen çelik oranının %5 olması nedeniyle cevizin odunsu çeliklerle çoğaltılamadığı anlaşılmıştır.
An attempt was made to investigate time of cutting (Oct., Nov., Dec., March), conc. of IBA (50-400 and 1000-4000 ppm), application types of IBA (shorter and longer treatments, basal soaking, deeper dipping), type of cuttings (one and two years also cuttings, apical and basal cuttings), length of cuttings (15-20 cm, 30-40 cm, 50-60 cm), rooting media of cuttings (vermiculite, perlite, sand) and other growth substances (NAA, Alar, Ethrel, 2,4,5 TP, Chinosol, Ammonium sulphate, sucrose) on rooting of walnut hardwood cuttings. It was found out that walnuts cannot be propagated by hardwood cuttings because the percentage of rooted cuttings was found to be 5% in all treatments used.
