Abstract

İzmir bölgesinde 1971 ve 1972 mevsimlerinde iki bahçede satsumaların olgunluğu takip edildi. Kuru madde, asitlik, meyve suyu randımanı, askorbik asit, meyve büyüklüğü ve kabuk rengindeki değişmeler narenciye meyvelerine ait tipik örneği gösterdi. Meyvenin normal olgunluğuna eriştiğinde oranın 6.0 olduğu ve buna Ekim’in ikinci yarısında ulaştığı görüldü. Aynı zamanda renk dönüşümü ise %55 civarında idi. Bu kriterlerin meyveler için en erken hasat tarihlerinin uygulanmasına karar verildiğinde kullanılması tavsiye edildi.

Ripening of Satsumas in Izmir Region Diming 1971-1972 Seasons

Abstract

The ripening of satsumas was followed in two orchards in Izmir Area during the 1971 seasons. Changes in soluble solids, acidity, ratio, juice yield, ascorbic acid content, fruits size and skin color showed the typical pattern for most citrus fruit. It is shown that the fruit reaches appropriate ripeness, ratio 6.0, in the second half of October. At the same time the color break is about 55%. It is recommended that these criteria should be used when determining earliest harvesting date for the fruit.
