Abstract

Tarımda, genotip × çevresel etkileşimlerin etkilerini ayırmak için tekdüze verim denemeleri farklı lokasyonlarda birkaç yıl boyunca tekrarlanır. Farklı lokasyonlarda ve farklı yıllarda tekrarlanan deneyler, aşağıdaki iki havuzlama oranı uygulanarak kolayca birleştirilebilir:
1. Bir dizi varyans analizi tablosunda bir faktör (örneğin ×) varsa (örneğin, bir Y sınıflandırmasının her seviyesi için bir A.O.V.) ve bu A.O.V.'lerin Y üzerinden havuzlanması isteniyorsa; havuzlanmış A.O.V.'deki ×'nin kareleri toplamı "X in Y" ile gösterilir ve her A.O.V.'deki SS'nin yanı sıra serbestlik derecesinin toplanmasıyla bulunur.
2. X ve Y çapraz sınıflandırılmışsa, "X in Y" SS'si X ve X ve Y etkileşimlerine ayrılabilir.
Havlama işleminin çalışan bir örneği, yukarıda verilen iki kuralın beş farklı lokasyonda yapılan bir buğday tekdüze verim deneme çalışmasına uygulanmasıyla gösterilmiştir.

Uniform Yield Trials: Pooling of The Experiment

Abstract

In agriculture, uniform yield trials are repeated at different locations for several years in order to separate the effects of genotype × environmental interactions. Experiments repeated at different locations and in different years can be combined easily by applying the following two rales of the pooling;
1. If a factor (say ×) exists in a series of the analysis of variance tables (say one A.O.V. for each level of a classification Y) and it is desired to pool these A.O.V.’s over Y; then the sum of squares for the × in the pooled A.O.V. is denoted by "X in Y" and is found by adding up the SS in each A.O.V. as well as the degree of freedoms.
2. If X and Y are cross-classified then "X in Y" SS can be broken down into X and X and Y interaction.
A working example of pooling was demonstrated by applying the two rules given above to a wheat uniform yield trial run at five different locations.
