Taze Biberlerimizin İhraç İmkânları Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Yazar, Türk taze biberlerinin Avrupa pazarına ihracat olanaklarını tartışıyor. İlk olarak, ülkedeki biber üretimine dair rakamlar ve çeşitli veriler sunuyor. Ardından, Avrupa biber pazarı tüketici zevk ve tercihlerine göre inceleniyor. Çalışmanın üçüncü adımı, mevcut Türk biber çeşitleri ile Avrupa tüketici tercihlerinin yanı sıra fiyat karşılaştırmalarını da yapmak. İnce cidarlı yerel dolmalık biberlerin Avusturya pazarına ihraç edilebileceği ve yine standardizasyon sağlandığı takdirde yerel kırmızı tatlı biberlerin Avrupa işlenmiş gıda sektöründe satılabileceği sonucuna varıyor. "California Wonder" çeşidi için bir pazar mevcut, ancak diğer ihracatçı ülkelerden gelen rekabet şiddetli ve erken üretim dikkate alınmalı. Kalın cidarlı yeşil biberler henüz yerel pazarda bilinmediğinden, yerel tüketicilerin bu biberlere yönelik tercihlerinin incelenmesi gerekiyor.

A Study on the Export Possibilities of Fresh Pepper

Abstract

The author discusses export possibilities of Turkish fresh peppers to the European market. First, he gives figures and various data on pepper production in the country. Then the European pepper market is studied according to consumer taste and preferences. Third step in the study is to compare Turkish present pepper varieties and European consumer preferences as well as price comparisons. He reaches the export possibilities that thin-walled local pepper for stuffing might have export possibilities to Austria market, and again local red sweet peppers can be sold in European processed food provided standardization is observed. For “California Wonder” variety there is a market but competition from other exporting countries is severe and early production should be taken into consideration. There is need to study local consumers preferences on thick-walled green peppers since these varieties are not known in the local market yet.
