I. Naphthyl N-Methyl Carbamate (Sevin)’in Elma Seyreltmesi Üzerine Tesiri

Abstract

Bu çalışma, elma seyreltmede Sevin'in yerel etkinliğini ve en uygun uygulama zamanını belirlemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. 12 yaşında tek tip Golden Delicious elma ağaçları seçilmiş, parsel başına iki ağaç olacak şekilde tamamen rastgele bir desen kullanılmış ve parseller arasında koruma sıraları bırakılmıştır. 100 lt'ye 180 g Sevin, tam çiçeklenmeden 15 (T₁), 19 (T₂) ve 22 (T₃) gün sonra uygulanmıştır. Kontrol ağaçlarında 100 çiçek salkımında 68 meyve tutumu olmuştur. T₁'de meyve tutumu 19, T₂'de 24 ve T₃'de 48 olmuştur. Tüm uygulamaların meyve tutumu, kontrol ağaçlarından %5 düzeyinde önemli ölçüde farklı olmuştur. T₁ ve T₂'de seyreltme yoğun; T₃'de orta düzeyde olmuştur. Uygulamadan 35 gün sonra tohum dökümü, kontrol ağaçlarında %6'dan %30,2'ye yükselmiştir. Tohum dökülmesinin seyreltmenin nedenlerinden biri veya hepsi olabileceği düşünülmüştür. Sevin'in (%50 sofralık toz I. Naftil N-metilkarbamat) ağaç başına maliyeti 79 kuruş (8,7 sent) olarak hesaplanmıştır.

Effect of I. Nephthys N Methyl Carbamate (Sevin) As A Chemical Thinner for Apples

Abstract

This study was carried out to determine the local effectiveness and the best time of application of Sevin for thinning apples Uniform, 12 years old Golden Delicious apple trees were selected, a completely random design with two trees per plot was used with four replications and the guard rows were left between the plots. 180 g of Sevin per 100 lt was applied 15 (T₁), 19 (T₂) and 22 (T₃) days after full bloom. In the check trees 68 fruits set per 100 flower cluster. Fruit set in T₁ was 19, T₂ was 24 and T₃ was 48. Fruit setting of all the treatments was significantly different from the check at 5% level. Thinning was heavy in T₁ and T₂; medium in T₃. 35 days after treatment seed abortion increased from 6% in check trees up to 30,2%. It was thought that seed abortion might be one or if not all of the reasons for thinning. Cost of Sevin (50% we table powder I. Naphthyl N-methylcarbamate) per tree was calculated as 79 kuruş (8,7 cents.)
