Abstract
1967 yılında müessesemizde yapılan endüstriye Elverişli Domates Verim Denemesine 10 yabancı domates çeşidi alınmıştır. 5 tekerrürlü Randomized Block Design tertibine göre kurulmuş olan denemenin varyans analizi yapıldıktan sonra, çeşitler arasında çok önemli farklar (significant) bulunmuştur. En iyi neticeyi Red Top (VF) domates çeşidi vermiştir. Bitki başına verimi 9,507 kg’dır. Hesaplanmış dekara verimi ise 13,204 kg’dır. Denemeye alınan diğer çeşitlere, nazaran teknolojik ve kimyasal özellikleri de üstündür. Verticilium ve Fusariuma dayanıklı olması da ayrı bir önem taşır. New Multiple Range testine göre verim bakımından birinci gruba dahil bulunan KY IxP.H. (G 12), H. 1370 (F), Es 58 (2889) (F) ve Es 24 (F) domates çeşitleri de endüstri için tavsiye edilir. Bütün bu çeşitler konserve endüstrisi tarafından arandığından, müstahsilin önünde garantili bir piyasa mevcuttur.

Abstract
10 foreign tomato varieties have been included in the Tomato Productivity Trial Suitable for Industry, which was carried out at our institute in 1967. Very important differences (significant) have been found out after the variance analysis of the trial which was planted in randomized block design with 5 replications. Red top (VF) has given the best result Productivity per plant is 9.507 kgs. Productivity per calculated decar is 13,204 kgs. It’s technologic and chemical characteristics are better in comparison with the other varieties included in the trial. Another important point is, it is resistant against Verticilium and Fusarium. The KY 1×P.H. (G.12), H.1370 (F), Es 58 (F), Es 58 (2889) (F) and Es 24 (F) tomato varieties, which are included in the first population according to the New Multiple Range test, can also be recommended for industry. Since all these varieties are desired for the canning industry, there is a guaranteed market for the grower.
