Karnabaharda bir bitkiden azami derecede tohum alabilmek gayesi ile bitkilerin bir kısım gövde ile yaprak sapı alınmış 100 ccm damıtılmış su +100 ccm %95’lik alkol +400 mg indol bütirik asit eriyiğine batırılıp saksılara dikildikten sonra, sühuneti 15-20℃ olan seraya konmuştu. Dört karnabahar çeşidinden alınan 100’er adet gövde kısımlı yaprak sapında %58 ila %73 arasında tohum veren karnabahar bitkisi elde edilmiştir.
In order to maximize seed yield from a single cauliflower plant, some of the stems and leaf stalks were removed from the plants. They were dipped in a solution of 100 ccm distilled water + 100 ccm 95% alcohol + 400 mg indole butyric acid. After being planted in pots, they were placed in a greenhouse at 15-20°C. Cauliflower plants yielding between 58% and 73% seed yield were obtained from 100 stems and leaf stalks taken from each of four cauliflower varieties.
