Abstract
Yazar, 6-11 Haziran 1970 tarihleri arasında Paris'te düzenlenen 4. Uluslararası Tarımda Plastikler Kolokyumu'na katılmıştır. Konferansta edinilen ve Türkiye koşullarıyla ilgili bilgiler not edilmiştir. Bu bilgiler arasında, çeşitli ürün türlerinin karşılaştırılması, ürün örtüsü için kullanılan farklı plastik türleri, patates, çilek ve beyaz kuşkonmazın malçlanması, yeni sera yapı tipleri ve ürün örtüsü için renkli plastiklerin kullanımı yer almaktadır.

Abstract
The author attended the 4th International Colloquium of Plastics in Agriculture which took place in Paris from 6th-11th June 1970. Information gained at the conference, and which is relevant to Turkish conditions has been noted. This includes comparison of the various types of crops, the different types of plastic being used for crop cover, mulching of potatoes, strawberries and white asparagus, new types of greenhouse construction, and the use of colored plastics for crop cover.
