ORTOMOLEKÜLER TIP YAKLAŞIMIYLA MAGNEZYUM TAKVİYELERİ

Year 2017, Volume: 11 Issue: 3, 22 - 25, 01.10.2017

Abstract

MAGNESIUM SUPPLEMENTS BY ORTHO MOLECULAR MEDICINE APPROACH

Year 2017, Volume: 11 Issue: 3, 22 - 25, 01.10.2017

Abstract

Magnesium is a mineral found in various foods and in the natural formations of the world that act as cofactors in more than 300 enzymatic reactions on the body. It plays a very important role in protein and nucleic acid synthesis, cell structure and cycle, mitochondrial integrity, cell membrane stability, ion transport. The human body has 25 grams of magnesium, 99% of which is found in soft tissues such as cartilage and bones. A small fraction of magnesium can be detected in the blood. Even a slight decrease in the magnesium level causes defects in enzymatic processes involving magnesium, The minimum amount of magnesium to be taken daily is 400 mg for males and 310 mg for females. Natural magnesium sources include dark green leafy vegetables, cereal products, nuts, some fruits, etc. As a result of inadequate agricultural practices in the soil and the excessive use of over-processed foods in modern diets is an obstacle to consuming enough magnesium from foods. The intestinal parasites, candida and the other bacteria and fungi that make up microbiota in the body use a large part of the total amount of magnesium, and for that, they enter the competition with the body. Thus necessity to use magnesium supplements to fulfill the vital functions of the body depending on magnesium may arise. The most commonly used supplements are Mg Glycinate, Mg Taurate, Mg Threonate, Mg Citrate
