The investigation of optimization parameters of sodium borate solution treated with different surfactants
Abstract
In this study, the Taguchi method was applied to determine the optimal conditions in the process of changing the antimicrobial activities of sodium borate solution through the addition of commercial surfactants such as cosmocol, NP7, loradac, and tianol 40. The type and ratio of surfactants were used as parameters in an orthogonal array design to reduce the number of experiments during the optimization process. Antimicrobial test results were employed to validate the impact of surfactants on the sodium solution.
