Experimental Design for Removal of Textile Dye from Waste Water by Silica

Abstract

In this study Taguchi who reduces the number of experiments by using orthogonal arrays for obtaining the target value, intended to design an experiment method that minimize the effects of factors which cannot be controlled by a few experiments. Silica, which are effective on the adsorption of dye 4 Taguchi method utilized to determine the value of the parameter is most effective. In application, the factors and levels suiting the purpose were defined and the experiments were repeated three times after proper ortogonal arrays are chosen. The results of experiments are analyzed by using Taguchi method and variance analyses method which calculating table according to S/N ratio were applied. The methods were applied and the results are evaluated after analyzing
