Klorürlü Çözeltilerde Sülfatiyazolün Alüminyum Korozyonuna Etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada sülfatiyazolün 0,1 M NaCl çözeltisindeki alüminyum korozyonuna inhibisyon etkisi, farklı sıcaklıklarda potansiyodinamik polarizasyon eğrileriyle ve SEM analizleriyle incelenmiştir. Polarizasyon eğrilernden sülfatiyazolün karışık inhibisyon etkisi gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Langmuir adsorpsiyon izotermi kullanılarak adsorpsiyon serbest enerjisi ve adsorpsiyon denge sabiti hesaplanmıştır. Sıcaklık etkisi Arrhenius eşitliği kullanılarak açıklanmıştır

The Effect of Sulfathiazole on Aluminum Corrosion Chloride Solutions

Abstract

In this study, the inhibition effect of sulfathiazole on aluminum corrosion in 0.1 M NaCl at different temperature is investigated using with potentiodynamic polarization curves and SEM analysis. Polarization curves indicate that sulfathiazole is a mixed-type inhibitor. Free energy of adsorption and adsorption equilibrium constant was calculated using the Langmuir isotherm. Temperature effect on aluminum corrosion is explained using the Arrhenius equation
