While performance measurement of companies can be
done by traditional methods, it has recently been seen that multi-criteria
decision making (MCDM) methods are frequently used in the related literature.
Performance measurement can be done by evaluating both financial and
non-financial performance criteria or separately for financial and
non-financial measurement criteria. Businesses measure and compare the
performances of other businesses that operate on their behalf. In the studies related
to business performance in Turkey mainly about performance measurement of an
enterprise listed in Borsa İstanbul for a certain year or for a certain sector
are calculated. The aim of this study is to find, compare and make
recommendations on the performance rankings according to the financial and non-financial
criteria of 2015 and 2016 years of ten factories affiliated to the General
Directorate of Machinery and Chemical Industry Institution with entropy-based
MAUT method. As a criterion, 7 ratios were determined. These are Net Profit /
Net Sales, Inventory Growth Rate, Sales Growth Rate, Production Growth Rate,
Spending Growth Rate, Net Sales / Number of Employee, Profit or Loss Per
