Koyunlarda Gebelik Toksemisi: Etiyoloji, Patogenez, Önemli Metabolik Profiller, Tedavi ve Korunma

Abstract

Gebelik toksemisi gebe koyunlarda özellikle gebeliğin ilerleyen dönemlerinde sıklıkla karşılaşılan yetersiz beslenme, yavru sayısı, yönetimsel hatalar ve hastalıklardan kaynaklanan mültifaktöriyel bir hastalıktır. Gebelik toksemisi, yavru kayıplarının yanı sıra, annenin de hayatını kaybetmesine yol açarak koyunculuk endüstrisinde önemli ekonomik kayıplara yol açmaktadır. Bu nedenle gebelik toksemisi ile ilgili veteriner hekimlerin güncel detaylı bilgilere ulaşması büyük bir önem arz etmektedir. Sunulan derlemede koyunlarda gebelik toksemisinin etiyolojisi, patogenezi, metabolik profilleri, tedavi ve korunma yöntemleri ile ilgili güncel bilgilere yer verilmeye çalışılmıştır.
