Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
Publication Ethics
This is an international peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original articles and well-prepared reviews on current topics in livestock science. Articles are accepted in Turkish or English and include studies conducted in Turkey and around the world.
The journal adheres to the fundamental approaches recommended by international organizations such as the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) throughout its article publication processes.
As an open-access journal, our journal ensures free access and aims to develop and share information in livestock research through scientific methods. The journal is published biannually.
Peer-reviewed articles ensure impartiality and the application of scientific methodology. All participants in the publication process—publisher, editors, authors, reviewers, and readers—are required to comply with ethical principles. Accordingly, all components of the journal’s publication process must adhere to ethical guidelines.
If instances such as data manipulation, misrepresentation, or the use of fabricated data are detected in submitted articles, the relevant institution of the author(s) will be formally notified, and the article will be rejected. The journal reserves the right to request output files related to analysis results from authors during the editorial or peer review process.
The journal does not charge any fees at any stage of the publication process, nor does it require subscription fees for article access.
Manuscripts submitted for publication must not have been published or submitted elsewhere.
The research presented in the article must have been conducted within the past 10 years.
A maximum of two articles from the same first author may be published in a single issue.
The similarity rate in plagiarism checks for submitted articles must not exceed 20%.
Articles will not be published without the revisions requested by reviewers.
Articles submitted to the journal will not be returned, regardless of whether they are published. Authors are solely responsible for the content of their articles.
Articles intended for publication must be prepared in accordance with journal’s author guidelines. References must be formatted in APA style.
Manuscripts must be submitted via the "Submit Article" menu on the journal’s website at https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/bdhad.
