Yapılan araştırmaların sonucunda, beyin hasar geçirmiş Türk hastaların konuşmalarında gözlemlenen bozukluklar sesbilgisi, kelime bilgisi, dilbilgisi seviyelerinde incelenerek sistemleştirilmiştir.

Abstract

The relationship between brain and language was first brought to light bythe French physician P. Broca and the German psychiatrist K. Wernicke throughthe   results   of   the   discoveries   they   had   accomplished.   Following   these disconveries, further researches on language and brain has been conducted.During the second half of the 20th centur, Neurolinguistics, a new branch exploring the language-brain relationship, started to emerge gradually. One of the main objectives of Neurolinguistics is to research impairment of language disorders (aphasia) resulting from brain injury.This research was conducted at the Neurological Branch of Republic Clinical Hospital (Baku) on 16 Azerbaijani aphasic patients, as well as at the Branch of Audiology and Speech Disorders of Faculty of Medicine at Hacettepe University (Ankara) on 8 Turkish patients. The aim of the research is to observe language disorders of Turkish patients, to record their speech and write themdown and to analyze them linguistically.
