When you compare the Anatolian dialects with the Cypriot dialects you can see
that the words that are being used in Cypriot dialects had been used in the ancient
Anatolian scripts and later in Anatolian dialects. The usage of these words covers not
only a certain region but a much broader area. A great part of the phonetic changes
in Cypriot dialects had already happened in Anatolia before 16th Century and they
continued developing and changing in Cyprus which has a totally different culture.
