AN EVALUATION ON IMPACT OF ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING AND ABSORPTIVE CAPACITY IN APPLICATION OF INDUSTRY 4.0

Year 2025, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 107 - 125, 31.07.2025

Abstract

This study has investigated whether the absorptive capacity and organizational learning levels make a difference in the adoption and application of Industry 4.0 technologies, and conceptual explanations are included. It is aimed to examine these concepts mentioned in management and organization theories from the perspective of production management. In this context, the Web of Science database, widely used and accepted by the scientific world, was used to conduct a comprehensive literature review. This study examines interdisciplinary concepts. Therefore, investigations were carried out with different keyword groups, and many articles were reached. It was aimed to carry out an evaluation focused on Production Management, articles in "production management" and "business administration" journals were examined, and the articles were evaluated theoretically from a relational point of view. As a result of the literature review, it has been seen that the number of studies emphasizing this issue in the field of production management is quite limited, and there are almost no studies examining this issue in a theoretical framework. When the findings are evaluated in a theoretical framework, it has been revealed that companies with high organizational learning and absorptive capacity are easier to adapt and implement to digital transformations such as Industry 4.0. This study is a roadmap for future studies to this openness discovered in the literature and should be supported by quantitative and qualitative research methods.

ENDÜSTRİ 4.0’IN UYGULANMASINDA ÖRGÜTSEL ÖĞRENME VE ÖZÜMSEME KAPASİTESİNİN ETKİSİ ÜZERİNE BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Year 2025, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 107 - 125, 31.07.2025
