The Use of Multi Criteria Decision Making Methods in Education

Abstract

Education has an important place for every society and the accuracy of the decisions taken in education is very important for the progress of countries. The purpose of this research is to examine the Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques used in making decisions in different processes and problems in education. The results of the research indicate that AHP is the most commonly used MCDM technique in different decision problems in education and in different fields of education. It is seen that the most used techniques together are AHP and TOPSIS. Recently, it has been noticed that in decision making in the field of education, the use of CRM methods at the level of ranking and classification has been used a lot.

Çok Kriterli Karar Verme Yöntemlerinin Eğitimde Kullanımı

Abstract

Eğitim, tüm toplumlar için önemli bir yere sahip olmakla birlikte ülkelerin ilerlemesinde de eğitimde alınan kararların doğruluğunun önemi büyüktür. Bu çalışmanın amacı eğitimin farklı süreçlerinde ve sorunlara göre karar almada kullanılan Çok Kriterli Karar Verme (ÇKKV) yöntemlerini ve çalışma konularını incelemektir. Çalışma sonucunda eğitimde farklı karar problemlerinde ve eğitimin farklı alanlarında en çok kullanılan ÇKKV yöntemin AHP olduğu ortaya çıkmaktadır. Birlikte en fazla kullanılan tekniklerin ise AHP ve TOPSIS olduğu görülmektedir. Son yıllarda eğitim alanında karar almada ÇKKV yöntemlerinin sıralama ve sınıflama düzeyinde fazlaca kullanıldığı görülmüştür.
